Anita Coletta is a research fellow at Politecnico di Torino, where she explores how technology can support the diagnosis and care of people living with neurodegenerative and psychiatric conditions.

She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Biomedical Instrumentation and E-health. Her research work combines engineering and emotion science, studying how facial expressions and emotional cues can be used to better understand cognitive decline.

Anita completed her Master’s thesis at LINKS Foundation under the supervision of Professor Gabriella Olmo and Letizia Bergamasco, contributing to the development of a system for detecting Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) through facial expression analysis.
