👉SMILIES THESIS PROPOSALS

If you are interested in one or more topics, the first step is to fill in the expression-of-interest form

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Submitting the form does not represent a commitment. Its purpose is solely to:

  • collect students’ expressions of interest,
  • understand preferences and background,
  • schedule an interview with the professors.

During the interview, we will discuss your interests and explore how the thesis work can be tailored to your skills, goals, and expectations, possibly refining or customizing the proposed topic.

During the interview, we will discuss your interests and explore how the thesis project can be aligned with your skills, goals, and expectations. If appropriate, the proposed topic may be refined or customized to better match your profile.

Given the high number of applications, we are committed to selecting students with strong technical skills. For this reason, during the interview (or in a follow-up meeting), we will include a short technical assessment. You will be asked to solve small practical problems (e.g., writing code) using the technologies relevant to the selected thesis topic.

The tasks will not be overly complex, but you will be required to work on your own laptop without access to external resources (i.e., no internet browsing, except for basic documentation and generative AI tools). The task will be interactive with us following you over the creation of the solution. The purpose of this assessment is not to create pressure, but to fairly evaluate your level of preparation in relation to the complexity of the project you choose.
