Luigi Borzì is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and works on medical applications of artificial intelligence and wearable technologies. He holds a B.Sc. (2015) and M.Sc. (2018) in Biomedical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer and Control Engineering (2023) from the Politecnico di Torino.

He is Associate Editor of the journals Smart Health, PLOS ONE, Automatika and Scientific Reports and a member of the editorial board of the journals Frontiers in Digital Health and Frontiers in Robotics and AI. He has served on the Program Committee of several international IEEE and ACM conferences. His research interests include machine learning, wearable technology, digital health, data analytics, wireless body sensor networks and medical IoT.

He is member of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, IEEE Computer Society, European Society for Movement Analysis in Adults and Children, National Bioengineering Group, Italian Society of Clinical Motion Analysis, and Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication.
