đź“ŤÂ Knowledge sharing, research and territory: SMILIES in the #BESOS_RP project
The SMILIES group was pleased to take part in the dissemination event of the regional project BESOS_RP – Well-being and Sustainability of the Piedmontese Breed, an initiative fostering dialogue between scientific research, the livestock sector and education.
Representing SMILIES, Alessia Leclercq, Lorenzo Martini and Roberta Bardini actively contributed to discussions with researchers, farmers and high school students, promoting an open and multidisciplinary exchange.
In particular, Roberta presented SMILIES’ contribution on data analysis done by the Team, illustrating methods and results supporting the assessment of animal welfare and sustainability in livestock systems.
The BESOS_RP project brings together key partners: Coalvi, the Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA) and the Department of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Turin, highlighting the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and strong links with the territory.
Dissemination events like this play a crucial role in making research accessible and in raising awareness among new generations.
